IEM recordings (Inner Ear Monitor) if you do not know, are funky little creatures similar to a soundboard but they include count-offs and metronome-like ticking to help the band keep the beat.  When expertly combined with a fantastic audience recording you get an A+ outcome like this one.  It's not perfect as there are a few very brief moments of static but overall it's a great listen, methinks.  Yes, the count-offs are weird to hear and they're not there on an aud or sbd or fm recording, but the IEM recording adds so much that your average audience recording doesn't pick up -- like the music and vocals coming in loud and clear.

ENJOY!

*** 3 shows now that I've posted have been in San Jose?  Of all the cities in the U.S. and the world, 3 out of 16 -- 18.75% -- from there?  Total coincidence.  "There's no such thing as coincidence."  Yes, there totally is and this is a prime example.
